Neighborhood Land Acquisition Meetings

The project team will hold a series of neighborhood meetings in the project corridor.  These meetings, which will be held in late 2013, are solely for people who might have their land acquired.  Invitations will be sent to prospective participants.

At the neighborhood meetings, the team will explain how land for the project will be acquired.  The acquisition process will be explored in detail, but the team will not be able to provide information on when land will be purchased or on the estimated value of the land until there is money to complete appraisals and construct the project.  Landowners will, however, get to review a draft phased construction schedule at the meetings to help them gain a clearer sense of the project’s timeframe.
