The Stakeholder Advisory Group (SAG) for the Springfield Rail Improvements Project is a critical component of the project’s public participation program. Participants help the project team obtain valuable community input; identify and address local concerns; and build public interest and involvement in the project’s activities. In short, advisory group participants serve as liaisons between the communities they represent and the project team, deepening team members’ understanding of community conditions and values so that their decisions are well informed and responsive to community needs.
The SAG is comprised of community and neighborhood association representatives, business leaders, medical community stakeholders, and public officials. Information about the SAG, including its meeting dates, times, locations, membership, meeting materials and discussion summaries will be regularly posted and updated on this page.
